Who is Alarcon?

Alarcon, my pen name. I was born in Singapore. In my teens, I explored different religions and became an atheist until I was gripped by a grand Divine Experience that ignited my search proper.

I continued my secular education in Business Studies and obtained a Diploma in Business Administration from University of Cambridge under PSB Academy and branched out to IT studies from Microsoft Corporation and Excom Education then I pursued my Bachelor’s Degree in Human and Religious Sciences from IIUM that included philosophy, civilizations, politics, critical and creative thinking, psychology, comparative religions and branches of Islamic sciences. 

Unappeased by religious and secular sciences, I suspended with my academic studies in order to embark on a spiritual quest with different Sufic orders (including the Naqshbandi, Naqshbandi Mujadidi, Chisti, NurAshkiJerrahi Dervish order, Qadiri and Shattari Sufic orders) and Yogic institutions (notably Kriya and Vasi Yogic paths) that involved intense spiritual trainings. After the inner accomplishment of my spiritual journey, I intend to pick up academics from where I left in order to pursue PhD. I am a working professional and is a householder involved in spiritual works.
